I always run all nav without voice prompts as they annoy me, besides, with the HUD, they are right there onscreen. o after starting onboard nav, I hit the ⭐, onboard nav moved to the right ⅓ and in the HUD, while AM took the left ⅔. I use split screen and the ⭐ on the lower infotainment panel to switch to CP. Of course, there is a third, I’m using an iPhone, which usually behaves differently that Android.Īnd fourth, IIRC, I started nav in AM, then onboard. □□♂️īut second, and most importantly, I recently found that I can use both onboard and Apple Maps for navigation at the same time in Split View with my old V3 CarLinkit adapter. Yes, I know I’m in the minority on this matter. Why? Because I like the directions in the HUD. I understand its limitations and deal with them. First, I don’t find the onboard nav terrible.
